Joseph first became intrigued by the mysteries and spontaneity of glass as a
university student. After college he joined an established glass firm and headed
a team of glassblowers, where he developed ideas and new techniques. Heading off
on his own, he established Zellique Art Glass.
Each piece of hand-blown glass is worked in a near molten state building up
and fusing designs, texture and colors in techniques that Joseph has mastered
over the last two decades. The result is glass that is unique and distinctive,
colors that are both bold and subtle. His studio produces work that builds
from
traditional forms that maintain organic attributes.
