Peter Marotta works in a variety of stone and metals, with a focus on strong lines and geometric patterns. The work reflects a bold use of edges and coarse cuts to build strong texture and contrasts that compliments the strength of the materials he uses. The effect is to create significant depth and warmth in material like steel and stone.

Peter works with a variety of stone including blue stone, marble and granite and combined with copper, aluminum, steel and bronze. His work ranges from functional work used inside living spaces to stand alone works for the outside environment.
