Ceramic programs
Terra Cotta with Marotta
Introductory program using local clay. Using hand building techniques to create Terra Cotta art objects. Fee $8 per session- Fridays 6:30pm Open class  START 1/9/09.
Intermediate Terra Cotta
Looking to focus on more complex forms and firing ranges to work with the variable nature of the local clay.  Classes in 6 week blocks Fridays at 6:30pm.  START 1/9/09
Fee $8 per session or $40 paid in advance
Hand building and sculpting techniques
For intermediate and advanced students. Working with clays in the cone 1-6 range. Glazing and slip techniques. Fridays at 6:30pm  START 1/9/09
Fee $8 per session or $40 paid in advance.
Material fee for clay includes clay and firing for first case of clay $18
Metal Programs
Intro. to metals is an introduction to ferrous and non-ferrous metals, including welding, brazing and soldering techniques. The course provides the theory needed to work with a range of metals and and an introduction to actual techniques.
3 week program. Saturdays 7pm $10 or $24 in advance.
1/10-24, 2/7-21, 3/7-21 Winter sessions 2009
Metal sculpting Beginner to Intermediate level: This is a course designed to develop skills with a range of tools and welding techniques for sculpting. Project design, layout and fabrication are also covered. Schedule time for individual or small groups, based on project. $25/hr plus materials - minimum of 4 sessions are required.

 

Be a Master of Plaster
Learn the basics of making plaster patterns working with pottery plaster. Patterns can be used for use with clay, paper or other sculptural needs. This is a short course that is recommended for people looking to do more complex projects. Done on two Saturdays at 1pm 1/10-17, 2/14-21, 3/14-21 Cost $20 plus $26 for 50lbs of plaster.

Coping with a health crisis and maintaining a creative life- Facing the great health challenges in life while maintaining a sense of self and purpose through creative exploration and expression from a nursing perspective. For individuals, friends and families having or involved with the day to day managing and coping with health issues that impede the flow of their lives. Monthly on Saturdays at 1pm 1/31, 2/28, 3/28 Free community program.

Wellness programs
Yoga with Ed -   “Yoga for the rest of us”
Regular scheduled days- Tuesday 3:45pm & 5:30pm, Thursday 5:30pm and Saturday 10:00am.
Fee $10. per class.

Yoga on your schedule - Classes created for groups of 5 or more, at a time that’s convenient for you.
