"There is a wellspring of energy and rhythm to all of life that is silently, but powerfully, translated into rich, visual patterns at the surface. My work, from the earliest days as a painter, to the present as a knit designer, has been to respond to the world’s dynamic energy, add my own to it, and translate it into highly personal visual language for others to experience.

From studies of complex whole-group expression (cultural patterning) to the contemplation of linear rhythm in a single blade of grass, this exciting process of discovery is a constant source of fresh, new design insights for my work."

Chris Triola is nationally known lecturer on the creative process and designer of limited edition, hand-crafted knitwear. Her work has been selected to be exhibited at the Smithsonian Institute and the Philadelphia Museum of Art and she has been featured in American Craft Magazine.
